Deskrawl Helmets: Effects, Classes and Build Choices

These six examples are not an exhaustive helmet list. They all require level 70, with item level 990 on the Divine pieces and 850 on the Black Mist pieces. Check the class restriction before planning around an effect.

Phantom Mask’s two damage bonuses apply while Phantom Form is active. They should not be treated as permanent Arcane and Poison bonuses outside that condition. Crown of the Fallen King has a different dependency: kills. Its three-second attack-speed window is easier to reason about in a stream of enemies than in an isolated fight with no new kill.

Circlet of Focus rewards a Basic-to-Strong attack sequence. Each Basic Attack adds one Focus stack lasting 10 seconds, up to five stacks; the next Strong Attack spends them for 20% extra damage per stack. A setup that rarely uses Basic Attacks will not use that cycle in the same way as one that regularly alternates attacks.

Crown of the Wandering Gale changes Whirlwind Staff’s tornado count, size and wandering duration together. Do not read “four tornados” as a proven fourfold damage increase; coverage and time on a target are part of the trade-off.

Visage of the Undying offers a direct all-damage reduction effect, while Glorious Gladiator Helmet increases the three core attributes. Those are different reasons to choose a helm. If survival is the obstacle, compare that problem against an offensive item’s condition rather than assuming the more complicated effect wins.

The Black Mist descriptions also state that Lady Shadow can configure their attributes. Keep the named unique effect and its conditions in view when doing so; the helmet’s name alone does not tell you the entire finished setup.
